We know we are partial, but we think our seasonal parties are second to none! Our goal is to incorporate educational concepts into everything we do...even our own parties. At our most recent Pumpkin Patch & Halloween Bash, we built and painted wooden pumpkins, made apple juice, hammered golf tees into a giant pumpkin and had a pumpkin patch for pretend play. Below are a few pictures from the event. The photo of the mom & daughter measuring the block of wood is one of my favorite moments captured. One it shows the two of them having quality time together and two the concept of measuring is either being introduced or practiced. The kiddos had a ball hammering brightly colored golf tees into a large pumpkin. This activity sharpens hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. We also loved watching the kiddos load up the wheelbarrow and decorate their front porch with pumpkins from the pumpkin patch! Lastly, we juiced apples. This was a first for most of the kiddos and they were quite intrigued by the process! If you attended our Halloween Bash...thank you for supporting Play Street Museum...we hope you had an amazing time with your little ones!
We have several holiday events that will be announced soon...so grab your calendars, contact your friends and get ready to book!
